I am officially abandoning this account.  I am not deactivating it because i want to keep it in tact so i can look back on it personally, but i will be creating a new account here pretty soon, and i'll update here to let everyone know what it is when that happens.  I am taking my creativity in a new direction, although i failed to update what i HAVE been doing on here.  I'm expecting some new and exciting things to happen.  So if your interested, keep an eye on this post and i will update it when i get the new account up and running.

Well i finally graduated from Dallas Baptist University with my Bachelors in Business Studies.  It was a long LONG road, but i found my way to the end.

I'm moving here pretty soon and start work shortly after that, but that being said...i feel free!  I will have so much more time on my hands.  I get excited about the idea of ONLY having to work 40 hours a week.  It will seem like a vacation...but i guess we'll see how long that happens too.

Anyway, i have decided to start putting some new stuff up...good or bad, just for practice.  I love being artistic as a hobby, and i am by no means fantastic in any field, but i have started doing more sketching and when i get all moved into my new place i'll start scanning those and put them up.

Well...on a complete side note, DC Universe starts officially tonight, and i'll be playing Day 1 thanks to Steam!

It wasn't until lately that i have been getting some flack for my MegaMan 2 pixel art pieces.  I was told that it looked like i just used stock sprites which is COMPLETELY wrong.

I was not going to reveal my secret until later, but it looks like i am being forced to in order to keep my respect of my fellow artists.

The program i used to make these prints was Microsoft Excel.  I know i know, there are easier programs but i felt that Excel could give me the Vectors i needed to print the pictures without ANY distortion.

Well how do i do it you ask?  Well it's simple yet hard.  I would resize all the cells to about 15 pixels in size...both horizontally and vertically.  Once that is done, i would select a cell and rick click, then properties, and then fill background color and BOOM...my first pixel.

I went and painstakingly recreated all these scenes pixel for pixel.  Each panel took me over 4 hours to do.

In retrospect, i worked in blocks of 16...and there are 16 blocks of 16 blocks in all directions...so it was over 65,000 individual cells per PANEL...and there are 9.

I hope this shows how more impressive my work is.  I am open for free commissions more or less.  Give me a Nintendo scene you want worked on and i will.  I won't send you a hard copy but i'll notify you when it's done and you can download it, lol, i'm just out of ideas.

I found my old camera that was packed away during all my moving and its now time to put it all to good use.  I missed it very much, and i know it missed me.  I have a roll of film in there now that is half way gone, so i'm going to have to finish this next set to see what i left up on the first.
